Truffle Hunting Experience in Umbria: Authentic Hunt, Gourmet Lunch & Local Traditions
Join us for an authentic truffle hunting experience in the Umbrian countryside, just minutes from Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. A half-day experience combining nature, tradition and gastronomy, guided by a professional truffle hunter and his trained dogs, followed by a black truffle lunch prepared in our restaurant.
This is a private, slow and genuine experience, designed for guests who want to discover the real soul of this land.

Program of the day
10:30 AM: Arrival at the Estate Welcome at our historic country estate meet Lucia, venue owners and Meet Nicola, professional truffle hunter, and his trained dogs, and Lizzy tour manager that will translate Nicola’s words.
Transfer to the Forest: we will drive you to a nearby woodland (5 minutes by car).
Truffle Hunting Walk starts: enjoy a guided walk through the forest (approx. 45 minutes / 1 hour) while learning how truffles grow, how dogs are trained and traditional truffle hunting techniques and much more.
12.00 pm: Back to the Estate: discover how to clean and prepare fresh truffles, followed by lunch with black truffle.
A private three-course lunch based on fresh black truffle, local ingredients and seasonal recipes. Wine included and exclusive use of the restaurant.
After Lunch: visit to our small museum inside the historic residence.
Total duration: approximately half day (about 4 hours)
