Our wine retreats are for wine lovers of all levels. Each day we visit a different winery, meet the owners, and enjoy a private guided tasting.

Included in our package: professional guided town tours, a private bedroom at a carefully selected partner villa, high-quality homemade breakfasts and dinners prepared by a private chef, and private round-trip transfers to/from Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO).

IMPORTANT NOTE: This wine retreat is hosted at a partner villa (not at Agriturismo La Dogana). The exact address and meeting instructions are shared after booking.

Our 7 days package (6 nights)

• 6 nights accommodation in a private bedroom in an Italian villa (partner property)

• 4 guided Tuscan and Umbrian winery visits

• 5 town tours with a private guide and free time

• Private drivers for all excursions on the itinerary

• Private round-trip transfer to and from Rome Fiumicino (FCO)

• Possibility to purchase and ship worldwide the bottles selected during the week (mix your favorites)

Where you will stay

When La Dogana is fully booked, we host our wine retreat weeks at a beautiful partner villa near us, a place we truly consider our “second family”.

The villa is a restored historic countryside property with private bedrooms and private bathrooms, a breathtaking swimming pool with a view over the lake and its islands, and generous outdoor spaces surrounded by olive trees and vineyards.

Food is seasonal, and ingredients are sourced from local farmers. During the week, you will also taste wines produced in both regions of Umbria & Tuscany.

For privacy and comfort, the exact address is shared after booking.

 

Who will host you

 

Lizzy & Lucia

Lizzy is a professional Tuscan tour guide with more than 20 years of experience.

She grew up working in tourism alongside her father, from whom she inherited some of her greatest passions: history, food, and wine.

She will be with you every day, guiding you through the schedule and always available for anything you may need during the week.

Lucia will welcome you and be behind the whole organisation.

Transfers & Policy

 

Private group transfers

Our bundles include private group transfers to and from Rome Fiumicino airport (about 2.5 hours’ drive). The meeting pick-up time is 12:00 pm, with an estimated arrival at the villa at 2:30 pm.

Meeting point: arrivals terminal (after baggage claim). If you come from somewhere other than the plane on the meeting day, follow the signs for “arrivals”.

The transfer driver will have a sign that says: “Wine Retreat – Lucia Tuscany Events”.

Checkout and departure back to the airport is at 9:30 am, with an estimated arrival at FCO at 12:00 pm.

Transport for the town tours is included in the package.

Any other transfers are an extra cost paid by the guests. If you need an early departure, we can arrange it and you will be charged accordingly.

All final important details 

A non-refundable reservation fee of 30% of the total bundle price is required to book your spot (credit card or PayPal).

The final payment (also non-refundable) is due one month before retreat check-in.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Airfare is not included, nor any extra transfers not included in the package.

Travel authorisation (ETIAS): ETIAS is expected to start operations in late 2026 for visa-exempt travellers. Please check official EU sources for the confirmed launch date closer to your trip.
