Our Super Todd!

From a host of various athletic activites and movement modalities, including various martial arts, calisthenics, gymnastics and acrobatics, I fell in love with the practice of yoga for its ability to ground me in the present moment, uniting my internal world with external experience.


I have led multiple international retreats, including three in various parts of Italy. On retreat with me everything is optional. There are plenty of included activities for you to relax, unwind, explore, taste, shop, and soak in. Classes will be geared for an All Levels crowd and scheduled around planned activities and meals, and everyone is welcome. My idea of retreat isn’t a yoga training where you practice 4 times a day. I choose these amazing locations for you to enjoy and explore fully. Classes, always optional will be once or twice a day depending on the daily schedule.


Todd founded and co-owns South Boston Yoga, where he leads all levels classes, advanced asana and co-directs the 200hr and 500hr Yoga teacher trainings certification programs. Todd also teaches classes at Equinox Clubs in Boston and leads retreats and workshops around the US and abroad. His classes are challenging, fun, intelligent and taught with great respect and purpose, bringing you a better awareness of your body’s options.

Dee Lyon

I have been and currently organizing amazing retreats locally and abroad for over 15yrs., including Tulum Mexico, Costa Rica, and many in the United States. 
I have practiced with some of most renowned teachers, such as Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, and Baron Baptiste., I am an experienced Instructor of over 20 yrs.
my classes are eclectic,hatha , Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative,  keeping on the spiritually based practice of hatha yoga, for all levels of yoga at hand, able to modify whenever needed,  I am a Reiki Master, Mindful meditation sound healer . and include energy healing and Tai-Chi, Chi Gung energy into my practice .

Yoga shows you the tools to align with your intention so that you can live on purpose with skill and grace.  On this retreat with Heather you will learn to use movement and meditation to clear the path of access to your desires so they can unfold on and off the mat.  What you seek is inside, not outside, and a retreat is a powerful opportunity to step back from the things you think are holding you back and discover the strength that resides at the center of you.  It’s all about loving the one you’re with, and that happens to be you.  What would it be like if you found more ease and joy in that singular lifelong relationship?  Heather  has been sharing this work with yoga and mediation students since 2009 and can’t wait to move, sit, breathe, laugh, play, eat, drink, and be with you.

Helen Noviello

Our Powerful Helen!

Helen Noviello has had the pleasure of sharing her love of exercise, movement and meditation for the past 40 years. She has thousands of hours of teaching experience and has lead over 75 successful yoga and meditation retreats worldwide. Helen lives her happiness in such a big way that you can not help but leave her classes, workshops, and retreats spiritually uplifted! Her passion and positive attitude naturally connect others to their own joyful potential.
Helen has a loving spirit and eclectic teaching style that make her classes flow magically. She always encourages her students to go inside and listen to their own expression of yoga and beautifully integrates all yoga levels into the practice making her students feel comfortable and welcome. Her approach to yoga is non-competitive, spiritual and nurturing leaving her students deeply calmed and spiritually uplifted! 
Helen is very excited about her retreat at La Dogna as this will be her first time doing a retreat in this region of Italy. She has led five retreats on the beautiful island of Ischia, Italy as well as many other stops in her favorite country on her many Yoga at Sea Adventures. She especially loves sharing the wonderful Italian culture she grew up in with her participants while doing yoga and meditation in some amazing parts of Italy. Her grandparents were all born in Italy and her husband, who owns the oldest Italian restaurant in Atlanta,Georgia, comes from the Amalfi Coast. Her 99 year old father always says “There are two people in the world, Italians and those that want to be Italian!”
Helen graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Health, Physical Education and Exercise Science. During her career, she has been the director at several work out facilities and yoga studios. She produced and starred in exercise shows for cable TV. She was also a Body Elite representative for Nike, presenting workshops to bring visibility to Nike’s apparel and shoes for ten years.
Helen was voted one of Atlanta’s top yoga instructors in the 2012 Yoga Edition of Atlanta’s Best Self Magazine. Her company, Yoga by Helen, was selected for the 2012 and 2013 Best of Atlanta Award in the Yoga category by the Atlanta Awards Program. Atlanta Magazine featured Helen and her yoga retreats in the Oct 2016 issue. Natural Awakenings magazine featured Yoga By Helen and her retreats in the August 2018 Yoga Issue.

Our beautiful Heather!


Heather’s style is a creative blend of Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. Her yoga classes aim to balance mind, body and spirit and cultivate body awareness, mindfulness and self-love.

She has a degree in Educational Psychology and has been a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher since 2005. She is the Owner of Harmony Yoga School and has taught group classes, workshops and yoga teacher trainings in the USA, Costa Rica and at retreat centers worldwide.

Heather is a mom who is passionate about healthy, natural living and loves teaching students from across the globe.

Our awesome Stephen!


Stephen Kirsch is an RYT-200 hour graduate of the Boston Yoga School, where he trained and later taught at some of Boston’s largest and best-known yoga studios. After moving to Portland, Maine in 2016 he established himself as a prominent figure in the southern Maine yoga scene. He is passionate about guiding his students through a practice that encourages them to listen and be present, and challenges them physically while offering them ease and release.

His classes are thoughtfully sequenced for all levels of practitioners and offer clear alignment and postural cueing. Stephen loves to read, spend time in the outdoors and hang out with his dogs.

Stephen is a passionate world traveler and has led numerous international yoga retreats, including to locations in Europe and Africa. Stephen crafts his retreats to feature a balance of yoga, cultural experiences and free time to explore and relax. Yoga classes are geared towards an all-levels crowd and are built around the other planned activities and excursions.

On retreat with Stephen everything is optional, and he welcomes you to create the experience you want to have!


Our amazing Anne!


Anne studied classical ballet and modern dance for 14 years in Berkeley, California. She earned a Ph.D. in biology at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts before taking up Yoga in 1996 to heal from an upper back injury. 

In 2003 Anne did her Iyengar-based teacher training studies in Palo Alto, California with Larry Hatlett. She then completed the Yoga Alliance 200 hour certification with Val Spies of The Lotus Pond, a Kripalu-based studio in Tampa, Florida. She founded Yoga Within in 2010.

In 2014, she completed the 500-hour certification with Val Spies. Since certification, Anne has taught more than 3,000 hours of classes and private lessons and continues her Yoga studies with Karin Stephan and other advanced Iyengar and Vinyasa yoga teachers.

Anne has taught numerous workshops in the Boston area and teaches regular workshops at The Lotus Pond in Tampa, FL.  Anne has been on the teacher training staff at The Lotus Pond since 2014 and has been a part of teacher training retreats in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina.

Anne is devoted to teaching each student with thoughtful attention and creativity. Her goal is for each person to find their way toward deeper understanding and appreciation of their own body and how to work with the Yoga poses to bring about a finely tuned mindful balance. Anne is loved by one and all for her kindness, her wonderful sense of humor, and her highly empathic nature.
